Dr. Shayama Chona
The only educationist & educator to have been conferred both the Padma Bhushan (2008) and Padma Shri (1999) awards by the Hon. President of India, Dr. Shayama Chona is the guiding force behind Capstone High.
The legendary ex-Principal of Delhi Public School, R K Puram, where she served for nearly 35 years in various capacities, Dr. Shayama Chona has been teacher, mentor and guide to many an illustrious Indian across all fields of endeavor. She is the proud recipient of 54 national & international awards that have seen her enter the Limca Book of Records as the recipient of the highest number of awards in India!
She has helped set up numerous schools across India – each one unique, each one setting new benchmarks in education and each one creating lifelong learners equipped to take on the challenges of an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
In recognition of the tremendous work she has done in the field of education, she has been invited by many organization and agencies in the field of education to serve as a Member on their Boards. She has served in 97 such Boards, notable among which are:

An alumna of the prestigious prestigious Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ Public School, Dr. Shayama Chona, worked in India and abroad in the initial stages of her career. She has undergone specialized training and attended educational conferences & seminars in nearly 20 countries and brings with her a wealth of knowledge gleaned from these experiences.
A firm believer in inclusive education, Dr. Shayama Chona’s desire to help differently-abled children realize their full potential manifested itself in the establishment of Tamana (www.tamana.org), a voluntary and non-profit society that has set-up 3 special schools in Delhi – Tamana Special School, Nai Disha and School of Hope – giving wings to the dreams and aspirations of hundreds of special children.

Mrs. Anita Malhotra
A recipient of the prestigious CBSE National Award for Teachers in 2012 for her contribution to the field of education, Mrs. Malhotra has been bestowed many a honor including Bharat Nirman Talented Ladies Award, Rashtriya Gaurav Award, Teachers Excellence Award, Guru Utsav Shikshak Sri Award, among numerous others.
Her forte has been the setting up and development of successful schools. As the Head of Lotus Valley International School, Gurgaon, she has managed to take the school to great heights within a span of 4 years. It is one of the most sought after “Future Ready” schools in the NCR region. Under her stewardship, the school has won the most coveted International School Award by the British Council.
She had a very successful stint with DPS Society having started off as a teacher at DPS, R K Puram, she went on to be the Founder-Head of DPS, Dwarka and then as Principal of DPS, Vasant Vihar and DPS, Gurgaon. She was the Founder-Principal of DPS, Dubai that she converted into a success story. She was also the Director of DPS, Bangkok.
Mrs. Malhotra believes in the power of technology in education and the need to build a strong foundation in life skills among children. An innovator in education, she introduced many path-breaking interventions and encouraged children to participate in seminars and workshops boosting their self belief and confidence.
A widely travelled person, Mrs. Malhotra has been a part of the Technical Delegation at the VII Asian Games, Bangkok. She was invited to US, UK, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE and countries in Europe to study their education & culture.
She brings to Capstone High a track record of success and a determination to see it succeed.
Ms. Shainaz Jussa
A Bombay University topper in MA, Ms. Shainaz started teaching in the UK and was exposed to Jolly Phonics, one of the world’s leading English learning programs. Since then, for over 13 years, she has been teaching Phonics using Jolly Learning methodology. Shainaz is a ‘Professional Jolly Phonics Trainer’ certified by Jolly Learning Ltd., UK. She is the first Indian to address the Jolly Phonics Global Trainers’ Conference in London, Jul .
Till date, Ms. Shainaz has trained over 6,000 students and 1,000 teachers in numerous workshops and programs across India. She has also conducted workshops in Oman, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Nepal.
A much sought after Jolly Phonics trainer, Ms. Shainaz has trained teachers at many leading Indian schools. She is also the official ESOL Examiner for Cambridge University Press in association with British Council. She led a team of Jolly Phonics trainers to train over 500 Govt. Schools in Meghalaya under the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan initiative of the Govt. Of India.
Ms. Shainaz is accredited under “How to teach, not tell” by Prof. Eleanor Duckworth of Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA and is also an active member of the Women in Business program of ‘Cherie Blair Foundation (CBF)’, UK.
