Children gain confidence and social skills by becoming adept in expressing feelings, solving problems, gaining acceptance through daily circle time which includes movement, playing games, singing, sharing etc.
Children become exposed to a variety of concepts through nature stories and folk and fairy tales from around the world narrated by teachers.
Art and craft
Children are acquainted with assorted artistic activities such as watercolor painting, drawing, clay modeling, collage, music and movement.
Children learn to appreciate nature through field trips which also serve in sensitizing them about the environment and environmental issues.
Theatre, puppetry, role play
Children’s expressive and creative skills are honed through active participation in theatre, puppetry and role play while they also cultivate stage presence.
Music, dance, games
Children develop fine motor and gross motor skills as well as shed inhibitions through music, dance and games.
Celebration of festivals
Children gain insights to the rich culture and diversity that is ours through celebration of festivals and cultural events.
Children are non-intrusively assessed on a continuous basis to make well planned interventions as required. Ongoing assessments help identify children who may need more support, and those who need to be placed in an accelerated learning program.
