CAPSMATICS (Math Show and Tell)
Mathematics is the cradle of all creation, without it, the world cannot move an inch. This year the theme for CAPSMATICS (Math Show and Tell) was
“Math, The fun way”.
Pre-primary students portrayed their learning journeys through dance, role play, and songs, while Grades 1 and 2 students explained their
learning journeys using various manipulatives.
Special Assembly: International Mother Language Day
The students of Capstone High came together to celebrate
International Mother Tongue Day through a special assembly. International Mother Language Day is observed across the world on February 21 to promote
awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity.
Year End Show
At Capstone High, we encourage students to be curious, ask questions, and become lifelong learners. We work towards building a conducive learning environment where every child can blossom and reach their full potential. Students in Grades 1 and 2 showcased their learning journeys through dance, music, and role-play performances. The objective of the Year End Show and Tell is to tell the story of each child’s progress through the academic year and showcase the skills and competencies acquired by them through this wonderful learning journey.
Show and Tell
Theatre helps students develop 21st-century skills such as collaboration, communication, and creativity. It enhances the joy of learning and helps students acquire skills they will need for a lifetime.
On 9th March, the junior school students (grade 3 to grade 5), as part of their Theater and Music-Show and Tell, staged some plays to showcase their skills and competencies in performing arts.
Congratulations to all participating students for putting up a splendid show.
National Pi Day
Pi Day is a celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed every year on the 14th of March. This year, Capstonians celebrated Pi Day by participating in a Math Quiz across the grades.
The students got an opportunity to celebrate their
love for mathematics and improve their logical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
National Senior Citizens’ Day
The National Senior Citizens’ Day is observed every year on August 21 to respect senior citizens and learn about their contributions to our lives and the society. The students of Grade 4 at Capstone High presented a special assembly to commemorate this day. The children made cards for their respective grandparents to show their affection.
Students recited the poem and presented the skit based on real-life situations. The pledge was taken by the audience to take care of elderly people around us. The children learned about the importance of
respecting and loving the elderly persons and extending a helping hand when they need it through the special assembly.
